HOW JESUS HAS LIBERATED WOMEN- DAVID MARSHALL

An historian of religions, David Marshall taught most recently at Peking University in Beijing, China.  Marshall first worked in Asia as a missionary, seeking to awaken the Church to the needs of tribal girls who were being forced into prostitution in Taiwan.  Marshall has written extensively on the historicity of the gospels and on Fulfillment Theology, a Christian model of religions based on Paul's sermon in Acts 17, on Sino-American relations, and on World Literature.  His work has been endorsed by Christian thinkers such as Miriam Adeney, Paul Brand, Craig Blomberg, Craig Keener, Timothy McGrew, Rodney Stark, Ralph Winter, and Nicholas Wolterstorff."

Herbig-Haro Objects: A Side View of Protoplanetary Disks Herbig-Haro Objects Protoplanetary Disc Herbig-Haro (HH) objects are bright, nebulous regions of gas and dust that are associated with young stars. They are found in star-forming regions, and they are the result of jets of material that are ejected from these stars. These jets can travel at speeds of hundreds of kilometers per second.  Protoplanetary disks are rotating disks of gas and dust that surround young stars. They are the sites where planets form. The material in the disk is gradually accreted onto the star, and it can also be ejected from the disk in the form of jets. HH objects are formed when material is ejected from the protoplanetary disk itself. This material can be ejected in the form of jets, or it can be ejected in a more diffuse manner.
